MISTAKES TURNED INTO VIRTUES.
Through the history, there are stated important issues about language in many different fields. Nevertheless, one of the most important item is language within education. There are numerous reasons in which language have been significant in this educational development. One of those is that the language has not been a hierarchical structure, but it’s a transformation network. In the other hand, we can assert that language is real communication and it also has fundamental features inside of it. Although the language has had an excellent performance in this field, it was not always successful; like any other process, different problems were evidenced in the theoretical principles, which gave the possibility of generating changes for a better and optimal development in teaching-learning.
In first place, it’s really important to say that each different method emerge for the necessity to give a solution to a specific problematic. In this part, we have the learner centered, it was focused in the student, it represented that, the language was a system or discurs, discarding the formation of habits (conductis) to give importance to building ideas; for this reason the teacher becomes a guide or mediator that produces an stimulus so that the student can give an answer. Also, the student can have a manipulation over the language to create a motivation in the student. The learner centered teacher recognize that the student can learn with each other.
In the other hand, it’s important to highlight the interactional main target of the learner-centered method, due to, it rescues several approaches that strive to develop social skills to the maximum while imparting academic knowledge, however, by themselves they do not achieve the desired results; it is due to this, the importance of the development of new methods based on old methods or successful approaches, since this allows a greater success and a more fruitful learning process for both, the student and the teacher, as is the case of learner-centered method, where the fusion of Natural Approach and Communicational Teaching Project allows a better knowledge acquisition and a classroom environment where it is encouraged to interact and put into practice the social skills that will be needed in the real world.
Finally, we can see the postmethod condition in where is important to stand out three fundamental aspects. The first one is the teacher’s role in a academic space; in this one, the teacher is the main character in the student's life. They are in charge of promote and try to improve their students communicative skills, with cultural topics, topics that will create curiosity in the students and also something to use in real life. In other words, put in practice the knowledge in real situations, they try to do it using interactive strategies and promoting creativity in the ideas that the students could create to improve their own knowledge. The second one is the student, in this part we can tell that the student has an active role in the classroom space, they are autonomous in their learning process, also they are learners by doing, it means that they can make mistakes, it’s totally valid, because of the experimental process. Also, they have to learn how to work in a cooperative way, the teacher will be their guide and will thrust them to take risks in the real world. The last one, is really important because it’s the context, in this one is how the student and the teacher can live together with some tools, and how the learning will be delivered in an excellent manier. The use of the technology, the personalized knowledge and the integrated subjects are just some of the possible context that both of the integrants can develop in the academical space. Nevertheless, as few words, the postmethod condition has appropriate advance for a good teaching-learning, and there are tools that we as future teachers can use to generate an enough suitable space for our students being a guide for them.
As a conclusion, it’s important to say that in spite of the different kind of problematics that the stages could have, it was necessary for living in a pertinent way the teaching-learning process. As a result, we can say that those problematics actually were the way out to generate nowadays a better methodology for our own learning process, and that also will be our help to promote in our students the autonomy and the sense of belonging in their development as people and future professionals.
